Thursday morning
by Paul W. Frields
I should be down by the booth area around 7:15 or so tomorrow morning.
The booth is looking good.
Someone will be coming by early to professionally hang our vinyl
banner for the booth. Looking forward to seeing everyone -- sleep
well. :-)

Leaving... on a jet plane...
by Paul W. Frields
OK, I know that Mel sent contact info around to attendees so we can
get media into the center. I've also contacted our Summit planning
staff, including Kristin Nordstrom, and Mo Duffy (who's one of the Red
Hatters assisting conference-wide), to let them know our crack staff
of Fedora friends will be looking for our booth gear in the afternoon.
All should be well, but if you need anything, I've sent around my
contact info to people too. I'll be unavailable from about 15:30 when
my plane boards until about 17:30 when it lands.

Tuesday setup -- any last thoughts?
by Paul W. Frields
OK, I have the following people on the list for booth setup on Tuesday
afternoon:
* Sandro Mathys (RHCE of the Year, woo!)
* Susan Lauber
* Brian Powell
* Peter Robinson
I've let Kristin Nordstrom, who is Red Hat's Summit mastermind, know
all your names. I told her you would be potentially seeking Red Hat
people in the afternoon to find our boxes, so you can set up the
table.
Kristin has a list of all the shipments, including our event box,
handouts, vertical banners, and the tablecloths (see previous email).
At least the event box and vertical banners were shipped with my name
on the label too. Everything should be possible to find, since
Kristin has the master list.
IIRC, Mel Chua is planning on coming by the center in the afternoon
(between 3:00-5:00pm sometime?) to deliver F13 media. Mel should be
on this list and receiving this email. Mel, could you privately let a
few people know how they can best stay in contact with you? (I didn't
want to just put your phone number on the list.)

Cheering for Sandro
by Paul W. Frields
For those of you who are already Red Hat certified (RHCT/RHCE/etc.),
you can ignore this email.
For those of you who aren't -- are you interested in being on a guest
list to cheer for our very own Sandro Mathys, who is 2010 RHCE of the
Year for EMEA? If so, drop me your name and I will see if I can get
those people into the exclusive Red Hat certified professional event
at the Summit, so we can see together the presentation of this
prestigious award to Sandro, and give him a big Fedora community
cheer.

Booth Setup
by Peter Robinson
Hi All,
Just to let Fedora organisers of the RH Summit stuff know that i'll be
in Boston from Saturday evening to Saturday evening so if you need a
hand for booth setup or teardown let me know as I'll be about.
Cheers,
Peter

Booth setup on Tuesday
by Paul W. Frields
So it looks like my flight is getting in on Tuesday a little later
than I wanted, and I probably won't make it to the hotel/conference
area before registration closes. So I could really use a small number
of people -- just two or three -- to help with booth setup on Tuesday
evening.
We can work out the exact time, but it shouldn't take more than an
hour or so to get everything done. It would be great if one of those
people was a Red Hat employee, which makes it easier to poke noses
into rooms and rattle cages if needed. ;-)
Ideally these folks could do the booth setup in the afternoon, while
there are lots of people around to find things for you and generally
support the setup effort. I feel bad saying this, because I can't be
there myself to help. But at the same time, if that crew gets done
early, we could either join the welcome reception, or I'd be happy to
treat them to dinner. :-)
Just FYI, my flight doesn't leave on Friday until the evening, so I'm
all in for the booth teardown and shipping of things after the
event. :-)
