I'm planning to update wlroots in rawhide to 0.18.0[1] by the end of the week (or at least before the branching). As usual, the update contains API/ABI breaking changes and soname will be bumped to libwlroots-0.18.so[^1]. wlroots0.17 compatibility package will be introduced in the same update.

This is a purely informational message, no breakages are expected and no action is required from the maintainers of dependent packages. I'll be taking care of the only package (river) that would benefit from the update.

[^1]: which might look wrong for some people, but it satisfies the "versioned library" requirement and is far from the first example of a versioned lib without soversion in Fedora.
