Sway's default config file provided by upstream sets a background image, the image is provided as part of the sway package and it is placed in the correct location.
But the default config file for Sway shipped by Fedora modifies it and points to a file that doesn't come with the Sway package, which causes Sway to display an error after it launches.

This sounds worthy a bug report. Would you mind opening one?
