Unable to install FC6 Test 3
by Russell Strong
Tried to install using custom partitioning but it does not appear to
understand LVM setup created by FC5.
It claims I have -21% free space???
There is a screenshot in the bugzilla report:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=207270
Has anyone else seen this problem? Is bugzilla the right thing to use?
Seems to me that nobody is looking
at the bugzilla database.

Any chance Coriander could be added to development-extras?
by Miles Lane
Hello,
I would really like to be able to work with video and webcams more
easily with Fedora. Right now, I can get Kino, but I find that that
doesn't meet all my needs. I'd love to see a version of Coriander
make it into the Fedora mix. I suppose maybe it would be something I
should ask Livna folks about as well.
Thoughts?

problems after compiz update
by Ganesha Bhaskara
All,
I am using FC6-test2 on Dell 700m with aiglx+compiz effects enabled. I
updated compiz on FC6 test2 from
compiz-0.0.13-0.23.20060817git.fc6.i386.rpm to
compiz-0.0.13-0.27.20060817git.fc6.i386.rpm using yum and compiz went
completely bonkers. Weird behavior included windows disappearing, being
placed outside the visible area on the desktop, maximized windows
appearing on alternate faces of the cube while using
ctrl+shift+alt+rightarrow. The only way I could fix this was to revert
to compiz-0.0.13-0.23.20060817git.fc6.i386.rpm.
Have others experienced this problem ? if so, is there a way to fix this
without reverting to the previous version ?
Also, have anybody installed and used compiz-quinn, its plugins and cgwd
with aiglx (NOT xgl) in FC6.
thanks
Ganesha

Nvidia bata & desktop effects
by listman
I know this may not be the place to post but thought it might interest
some.
All you nvidia fans can use desktop effects with the new beta drive.
Only problem so far is no border,so I'm unable to move or resize the
window.
Cube desktop works well.

Screen vt freezing
by Kwan Lowe
Odd..noticed this a couple times already:
I SSHed into a FC6t3 image running on a VMWare server. From the SSH session I ran
screen in a split window, ran "yum clean metadata; yum update". In the middle of
grabbing primary.xml.gz, the screen session froze completely. Couldn't CTRL-C,
couldn't do a [ENTER][~][.] SSH reset.
I figured it was a glitch so I logged in directly on the console, killed the screen
sessions. From Putty on another machine I logged back in. Exact same error and it
stopped at the same 213/3401 as shown below.
>From the console the update completes fine.
