Hi folks, The feature freeze is coming soon[1], and that means we need to check to make sure all the new ans exciting features coming in F11 are "testable". Here's a list of all the F11-approved features that haven't been reviewed yet: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Category:Features_needing_QA_approval The wiki pages should tell you a bit more, but basically, we need to make sure that each feature has two major things: 1) Scope The Scope section is supposed to list the *complete* set of changes to be made, features to be added, etc. Basically: it needs to tell you what's going to change - what packages, what config files, and so on. If the Scope section is vague, incomplete or missing, add this to the bottom of the Feature page: [[Category:Features with incomplete scope]] And add a comment on the 'discussion' page. Be sure to put "--~~~~" at the end of your comment - this will add a signature for you. 2) How To Test This part should tell you how to check everything listed in the Scope section. It should have a complete list of detailed instructions that you (or I or anyone on fedora-test-list) can follow to test the feature. ghc conf file in /lib

When updating today I noticed that /usr/lib/ghc-6.10.1/package.conf was not updated, but rather a .rpmnew file was created. I took a look at /usr/lib/ghc-6.10.1/package.conf and it doesn't look like a normal conf file (that one might edit by hand). My guess is that either it shouldn't be getting treated like a conf file (and hence just be replaced) or the file should be in /etc not /lib. Since I am not familiar with how this is used, I figured I'd run it by here first before filing a bug.

I'm wondering if this one of my many Just Me(TM) problems. Has anyone been running into md5 check errors on recent updates--specifically bash and coreutils? Some googling saw someone with similar issues on the devel list, but in his case, he was compiling rpms in a separate environment, so I don't think it was related, though it seemed to be the same programs. Determining the component for a bug submission

OK. Got a minor bug with system-config-selinux.py or that is what the about reports for the dialog. Thing is this component is not included in the list of components, oh this is on FC10. Simply put, you cannot drag the dialog around if your screen size is 800x480 (on my ASUS 701). Neither grabbing it on the title line nor using <alt-leftmouse> can move it. No problems if the screen size is larger than the dialog box. No problem dragging other 'oversized' dialogs (like system-config-services) around either way. So how do I report this bug if the component is not in the component list?

Dependencies for MonoDevelop

Today I have installed MonoDevelop in FC10 (recently installed and updated) and cannot see or navigate any source file when I try to open it. For the second problem I have installed "ctags". For the first, I have tried to install "gtksourceview2-sharp". I think both should be dependencies of the "monodevelop" package. When I try: # pkcon install gtksourceview2-sharp I get that: Error: package-already-installed : The packages failed to be installed But if I search that package, I get that: available gtksourceview2-sharp-1.0-2.svn89788.2.fc10 A C sharp binder for gtksourceview2 available gtksourceview2-sharp-devel-1.0-2.svn89788.2.fc10 Development files for gtksourceview-sharp so is not really installed. What can it be? Thanks for your work.
