b43 driver regression
by Marek Paśnikowski
After last Rawhide update my "04:00.0 Network controller: Broadcom
Corporation BCM4311 802.11b/g WLAN (rev 01)" keeps losing WiFi signal.
The network is protected by WPA2 password. The driver loses connection
quite often - about once per hour.

F13 duplicate disk icons in Nautilus
by Andrew Smith
Hi guys,
I'm getting 2x icons for each of my drives that are mounted in F13.
My /etc/fstab for these drives is:
LABEL=files /media/files ext4
rw,nosuid,nodev,uhelper=devkit,user,exec 0 0
LABEL=files-backup /media/files-backup ext4
rw,nosuid,nodev,uhelper=devkit,user,exec 0 0
LABEL=media /media/media ext4
rw,nosuid,nodev,uhelper=devkit,user,exec 0 0
LABEL=media-backup /media/media-backup ext4
rw,nosuid,nodev,uhelper=devkit,user,exec 0 0
The drives are mounting automatically in /media and their icons appear
once on the Gnome desktop.
However, in Nautilus I get two icons - one for the mounted drive and one
for the drive as if it's unmounted.
Any ideas why this might be happening - I've had a look at the settings
for Nautilus in gconf-editor but everything is set to default.
Cheers,
Andrew

Re: gtk3
by Rob Healey
Dear J?hann B. Gu?mundsson, JBG:
>Are you using pygobject2-2.21.1-6 or newer if not update to that or later
release in koji ( if >it does exist ) and see if this problem still persist.
Thank you very much for knowing what and where I needed to get/ update on my
system... I did NOT have that update yet until today's updates on rawhide.
I am now currently at pygobject2-2.21.1-9, and my problem has been
resolved! I am now able once again to continue contributing to Gramps,
genealogy software!
I am very grateful to you for this information and your taking the time to
help me! I was beginning to think that I was going to have to downgrade
from rawhide to F13 to get my system working once again!
Sincerely yours,
Rob G. Healey

Fedora Moblin spin is here
by Peter Robinson
Arriving fashionably late the Fedora Moblin spin is now here.
Its based on the Moblin 2.1 UX.
You can download it from its spin page here
http://spins.fedoraproject.org/moblin/
With MeeGo 1.0 Netbook out I'm now reviewing what is required to get
the UX into Fedora. Details and updates regarding that will be posted
to the mini mailing list here

Fedora Project Contributor Agreement Draft Revision Posted (Replacement for Fedora Individual Contributor License Agreement)
by Tom Callaway
Hi Fedora!
Thanks for taking the time to read and comment on the Fedora Project
Contributor Agreement (FPCA). We listened to your concerns, and have
amended the draft slightly.
Here are the key changes that we've made:
1) We removed undefined references to "free".
2) We replaced the term "electronic" with "digital".
3) Most importantly, we made several changes to explicitly address the
problem of reuse of default-licensed CC-BY-SA content within
GPL-covered works. (Basically, we added a GPL exception.)
The full text of the revised FPCA, along with a FAQ, can be found here:
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Legal:Revised_Fedora_CLA_Draft
Fedora Legal wishes to give the Fedora community a window of time for
discussion and review of the revised FPCA. Due to the fact that the
changes are relatively minor, and the original draft has been open for
comments for some time now, this second window is open until June 4,
2010 (2010-06-04). After that point, either another revised FPCA will be
released for review, or we will begin the process of phasing in the FPCA
and phasing out the Fedora ICLA.
Thanks in advance,
Tom "spot" Callaway, Fedora Legal

Re: dnsmasq broken in Fedora 13
by Chuck Forsberg WA7KGX
The problem was named which does not coexist with
dnsmasq. Dnsmasq seems to run fine without named.
The services manager should warn about conflicts such
as dnsmasq and named.

Certificate status monitor and PKI enrollment client

translations, and brings the service init script into better alignment with
packaging guidelines.

certificate should be marked valid, correctly records the requested CA when an

translations, and brings the service init script into better alignment with
packaging guidelines.
