pipx-0.16.1.0-1.fc34 (FEDORA-2021-3c180bdc2b)
Install and run Python applications in isolated environments
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Update Information:
New version 0.16.1.0, primarily a bugfix release: * Introduce the pipx.run
entry point group as an alternative way to declare an application for pipx run.
* Fix cursor show/hide to work with older versions of Windows. * Support text
colors on Windows. * Better platform unicode detection to avoid errors and allow
showing emojis when possible. * Don't emit show cursor or hide cursor codes if
STDERR is not a tty. * Sped up pipx list. * pip errors no longer stream to the
shell when pip fails during a pipx install. pip's output is now saved to a log
file. In the shell, pipx will tell you the location of the log file and attempt
to summarize why pip failed. * For reinstall-all, fixed bug where missing python
executable would cause error. * Fix regression which prevented pipx from working
with pythonloc (and __pypackages__ folder).

Testing F34 WS Beta 0225
by pmkellly@frontier.com
Inregard to my testing of Testing F34 WS Beta 0225:
This was a bare metal install on a Lenovo M53 with a i5-4570 CPU. The
ISO down load, check sum, Mediawriter to thumb drive, boot to thumb
dirve. and install all completed without problems.
The SELinux alerts just seem to occur during a start/restart or login.
When the desk top is up I am greated with the alert notification. When I
open Trouble shooter there is a total of 4 alerts. They have varying
numbers of occurreds. They are the same ones we have bugs for so I
deleted them. and I don't get any more alerts until the next time I
restart. I've have no more cases of alerts continuing every second or two.
I get an unexpected System Error on each restart, but abrt says their
isn't enough info to report a bug.
I've attached the log using (sudo journalctl -aeb > journal.log).
GCC isn't crashing any more and seems to be working fine. At least no
problems yet. I ran updates today and I saw they're still making changes
to it; so I will keep testing it.
I'm no longer seeing the 2 minute time out during shutdowns or restarts.
I'm still getting the white screen sad face at first boot.
Have a Great Day!

Correct. Most of the time, for most users, what's provided is self
maintaining in Brfs kernel code. If there's necessary maintenance not
provided by the kernel, then it should be scheduled, e.g. a systemd
timer kicks off a service unit.

Scrub is mostly a read-only operation involving the verification of
checksums for all file system metadata and file data. There's no
concern on wear, you could run it every day if you wanted to.
But other considerations are how long it will take, how much CPU is
used, and will it slow down the computer until it completes?

Scrub is not going to fix George's file system. I want to know if
there's more corruption than this one block, because I want to know
the big picture. The specific corruptions can provide clues for why
they are happening.
If this is the only bad block, there is a way to fix it with e2fs
tools. But getting a copy of this superblock before repairing it might
give a clue what stepped on it after btrfs-convert.
