Obsolete test case

Hello. I spotted that there is an obsolete test case attached to the httpd package [1] It points to a broken link regarding the git repository [2], and actually the correct git repository [3] is 13 years old (and indeed the script still expect that services are handled by chkconfig etc.) I added a warning on the wiki page [4], but how to handle this? Do you know if there is a new test case? Should we delete the wiki page? kernel-6.10.2 ?

We're in kernel test week and I notice 6.10.2 has been available for a number of days now but no Fedora 40 build exists yet on koji. On the other hand multiple kernel builds have been done for Rawhide over the same time period, so it's not like we're not building kernels. Is there a reason we're not doing a 6.10.2 build for 40? [Rawhide Test Day] Podman 5.2 Test Day 2024-07-29 through 2024-07-31

Hey Folks! We will be testing Fedora 41 with the new update in Podman 5.2. To ensure a smooth transition, the Podman team and the Quality team of Fedora have decided to host a test day[1]. The idea is for users to test Podman 5.2 on a Fedora Rawhide machine and submit results in the Test Day App[2]. If you have spare cycles or use Podman as a daily driver, it will be great to have some folks try out and report bugs right away. Self-Introduction - Dyllan Bentley

Hi, I'm interested in helping out in any way I can with the Fedora project. I stumbled around many Linux distros for years, and have been impressed with the mix of cutting edge and stable that Fedora is bringing to the table. I'd like to help in any way I can. I work in Information Technology/Information Security, often taking on System Administration duties. I run Fedora daily for personal use, and with the help of virtualization I am able to run a VM for work inside of it. I use the OS for about 9 hours a day for work tasks, and can afford a few hours a week to test builds, provide some feedback, and help trial in a virtualized environment. I can also test on hardware as I have a variety of spare machines lying around. I'd like to be a part of the community that helps designers, developers, etc. turn the cutting-edge stable. Rebasing Blender 4.2 for Rawhide and Fedora 40

Hello team, Blender 4.2 currently failed on Rawhide due to Python 3.13 API changes and the issue is already reported[1]. Patch welcome. The plan is to build for Fedora 40 containing no major soversion changes. Users will notice majority of add-ons are now relocated as as extensions similar to GNOME approach [2]. Due to the minimal requirement for OpenImageIO 2.5 series from upstream, Fedora 39 will not receive update. In a future, Fedora n-1 will only receive LTS version. Introduction

Hello Everyone, I'd like to introduce myself to the Fedora Quality Assurance team. I am interested in contributing to this group specifically as I feel the skills that I hold are a perfect match, and will benefit the community. I have spent some years now with Linux (I think 10 or so now?) and have considerable experience with it. I have a considerable amount of knowledge in C, Rust, and Python. Some of my experience pertaining to Linux includes some Sysadmin here and there with my home equipment, and I find myself quite familiar within the Fedora environment. I have previous experience with QA as I had spent some time doing package testing and sign offs for the Arch Linux Team. For a more personal introduction, my name is Lucas Puntillo and I am situated within the Greater Toronto Area in Ontario Canada. I have a passion for Linux and similar open-technologies and would like to give back to the community that has helped me complete tasks in my day to day life (while also having a very welcoming group of members backing it).
