Yes, tnx for the info. I updated rawhide yesterday night (i.e.12 hours ago) and new rpm and kernel were included in updates, now I edited grub.conf by hand and it is o.k. Tnx again

the message is:
kernel panic - not syncing: VFS: unable to mount root fs on unknown-block(0,0)
So I checked grub.conf and initrd /initramfs-2.6.33-0.40.rc7.git0.fc13.i686.PAE.img was missing. Added and I could boot also with last kernel.
