Greetings:
I am having dependency resolution problems regarding the kernel-2.6.33-0.40? Here is what I get from yum:
[root@captainhook ~]# yum update Loaded plugins: fastestmirror, refresh-packagekit Loading mirror speeds from cached hostfile * rawhide: linux.mirrors.es.net * rpmfusion-free-rawhide: mirrors.cat.pdx.edu * rpmfusion-nonfree-rawhide: mirrors.cat.pdx.edu Setting up Update Process Resolving Dependencies --> Running transaction check ---> Package kernel.i686 0:2.6.33-0.40.rc7.git0.fc13 set to be installed --> Processing Dependency: grubby >= 7.0.10-1 for package: kernel-2.6.33-0.40.rc7.git0.fc13.i686 ---> Package kernel-devel.i686 0:2.6.33-0.40.rc7.git0.fc13 set to be installed ---> Package kernel-headers.i686 0:2.6.33-0.40.rc7.git0.fc13 set to be updated --> Finished Dependency Resolution --> Running transaction check ---> Package kernel.i686 0:2.6.33-0.25.rc6.git0.fc13 set to be erased ---> Package kernel.i686 0:2.6.33-0.40.rc7.git0.fc13 set to be installed --> Processing Dependency: grubby >= 7.0.10-1 for package: kernel-2.6.33-0.40.rc7.git0.fc13.i686 ---> Package kernel-devel.i686 0:2.6.33-0.25.rc6.git0.fc13 set to be erased --> Finished Dependency Resolution Error: Package: kernel-2.6.33-0.40.rc7.git0.fc13.i686 (rawhide) Requires: grubby >= 7.0.10-1 Installed: grubby-7.0.9-1.fc12.i686 (@updates/12) You could try using --skip-broken to work around the problem You could try running: rpm -Va --nofiles --nodigest
In koji build system, grubby-7.0.11-1* is available.
I downloaded the grubby src rpm to try to build it, but it has a dependency of libblkid-devel. I can't find it...
Can someone help???
Sincerely yours, Rob G. Healey

I have grubby-7.0.12-1.fc13.i686. I suspect that something you have installed from rpmfusion is pinning the f12 grubby version an blocking the update.
