Hello,
our guide for livecd creation used for test days [1] have been outdated (used F11 packages as a repository). I have rewritten it to use Rawhide packages for building, which is preferred for test days. I have also added some info what to do if rawhide repository is currently broken. Hope that helps.
There is one issue which should be discussed: The default kickstart scripts remove fedora-logos package because of trademark issues with non-official spins. I have added it back for test days spins. Is that ok? If someone thinks it is not, it's not a problem to modify it, just tell me.

Thank you very much for working on this, Kamil!
Hi,
I have updated the guide [1] a little bit once more. Changes include: * added IRC client (pidgin) that was missing before * added some useful apps (mc, vim, etc) * added recordmydesktop app to help making screencasts for bug reports * removed some other packages to save space * created a desktop icon to connect to Test Day IRC chat * fixed firefox home page to show Test Day page (although I'm unable to turn off the "first run welcome" page, does anybody know how?)
If something doesn't work, let me know.
And of course I ask all Fedora QA and Fit-n-Finish members to use these (or modified) scripts to have the Test Days images a little more user-friendly :)
Thanks, Kamil

I happened to read this during the Spins SIG meeting and mentioned it there. We are going to try to keep your ks file in the spins kickstart git repository.
The idea is to have a base qa test day ks file, that testers can add a few packages to more easily.
We can drop it later if you end up not liking it. I'll add a link to it from the wiki after I have it set up.
I have finally got this in the git repository and have a spins page up for it. I made myself responsible for the spins page, but feel free to make appropriate changes or ask me to. The page is at: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/QA_Test_Day_Spin
