I just did a sucessful text install to Hard Disk with f22-live-MATE_x86_64 TC6 boot dd USB of live xxxx.iso terminal: su to root terminal # liveinst -T answer all questions and install # reboot login (to user at level 3) $ su (password) # systemctl set-default graphical.target # reboot log in to graphical desktop

AFAIK, this isn't supported. It might *work*, but it's not supported, and probably no-one would consider it much of a priority if it broke. So I wouldn't publicize it too much - consider it a 'it might be handy if it works, but don't rely on it' kinda thing.
