#136: joining proventester: michich -----------------------------------------+---------------------------------- Reporter: michich | Owner: Type: proventester request | Status: new Priority: major | Milestone: Component: Proventester Mentor Request | Version: Keywords: | -----------------------------------------+---------------------------------- Hi, I am Michal Schmidt, I work for Red Hat (kernel team). My FAS name is "michich". I'd like to join the proventester group.
I am a Fedora packager. I run several Fedora releases including Rawhide and Branched on real hardware and in virtual guests. On most of them I have updates-testing enabled. I even like SELinux.
I report bugs in Bugzilla and provide comments in Bodhi. Usually I use the web interface, but I have used fedora-easy-karma too. Sometimes I do bug triage, debugging, and occasionally add a patch.
I have read http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Proven_tester and found it absolutely obvious and intuitive.

Hi Michal
You have already demonstrated that you have read the required documents and understand the responsibilities of proventesters, so I am happy to sponsor you.
I have updated the FAS record, and you are now a proventester. Please go ahead and test packages, particularly critpath ones, as a proventester. As we move into the post-beta stages of the f14 development it is also important to test f14 to make it as good a release as is possible.
Enjoy testing. Mike
