Great idea, reminiscent of work I've done and seen through

What are you planning around course materials?
I will be using only "open sourced" content (couldn't resist) or "Open Educational Resources." I will be using only materials that are either freely (no cost) available on the web (e.g. Cathedral and the Bazaar) or published under CC-By /CC-By-SA. The OSI sponsored a project, led by Joseph Potvin, to develop educational modules, teaching and learning activities and open resources, etc. called the Free/Libre/Open/Works Syllabus. which has a wealth of resources (http://osi.xwiki.com/bin/Projects/flow-syllabus).

I will pulling content from there. As I think I mentioned the course is project based so students will need to source content themselves for much of the course.
I'm in some discussions around that topic
right now, and will have some thoughts (and materials) to share with you.
I would be interested to see them, and if appropriate, include them in the FLOW Syllabus. BTW, I believe Joseph reached out to the Teaching Open Source folks to introduce the FLOW Syllabus (and I just signed up).

Thanks,
Patrick
