I will be using only "open sourced" content (couldn't resist) or "Open Educational Resources." I will be using only materials that are either freely (no cost) available on the web (e.g. Cathedral and the Bazaar) or published under CC-By /CC-By-SA. The OSI sponsored a project, led by Joseph Potvin, to develop educational modules, teaching and learning activities and open resources, etc. called the Free/Libre/Open/Works Syllabus. which has a wealth of resources (http://osi.xwiki.com/bin/Projects/flow-syllabus).Great idea, reminiscent of work I've done and seen through TeachingOpenSource.org. What are you planning around course materials?
I would be interested to see them, and if appropriate, include them in the FLOW Syllabus. BTW, I believe Joseph reached out to the Teaching Open Source folks to introduce the FLOW Syllabus (and I just signed up).I'm in some discussions around that topic right now, and will have some thoughts (and materials) to share with you.
