The SE Warningbrowser generates mixed errormessages :
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
erstellen.
Do
zugriff jetzt erlauben, indem Sie die nachfolgenden Befehle ausführen:
# grep wine-preloader /var/log/audit/audit.log | audit2allow -M mypol
# semodule -i mypol.pp
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
better translation:

It's not easy to generate such things automatically in a perfect translation.
Maybe more parts have to be changed to accomplish it.

Description of problem: When clicking on the update applet a window pops up and
the string "There are updates available" is not localized.
I am not sure if this applet is being maintained by Red Hat. I am using
openSUSE "Tumbleweed" but wanted to let upstream know so all distributions can
benefit.

Re: How to upload .po file to translate.zanata?
by Roman Spirgi
Florian, just translate "de". IMHO there's no need to have a de_CH or
de_AT variation.
There are some minor differences in spelling for CH, AT and DE - but we
agree on the same orthographic rules, see http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/
Deutsche_Rechtschreibung. It's similar to en_US, en_UK, en_AU, I guess.
Actually it's not worth to maintain different DE versions as we don't
have the resources as well. The de_CH team has 0 members on
fedora.zanata.org ;) Otherwise we can discuss this on the trans-de list
as well.
Cheers, Roman - I'm Swiss though :)

How to upload .po file to translate.zanata?
by Florian Heiser
Hi,
Sorry for bothering this list again with my rookie questions.
I translated (part of) blivet-gui into German (de) and noticed that the
f24-branch also requests translations for de-DE. How can I upload the
.po file of de-translations to de-DE? Or is this maybe not even needed?
Will a system automatically default to de if de-DE is not available?
The other thing, sometimes I see a master branch, I assume that all
"release branches" (such as f24, devel, rhel7...) are forked from this
master. What's the strategy if there is no master? Will the next release
be forked from the latest version? What if the release branches all have
different progress of translation (say 41%, 48%, and 66%). What this
question basically means, that it isn't obvious to me to what branch to
contribute (even in the case that there is a master. So, what would be
of higher priority? A master or f-24? Will the changes to f-24 be merged
back to master?).
Beste Grüße,
Florian

Übersetzung blivet | de vs. de_DE
by Florian Heiser
Hallo zusammen,
Florian
