Summary of completion
by Paul W. Frields
The following locales have completed, or nearly completed, the Release
Notes translation and should be included in the final ISO spin:
el es it pt_BR pt sr uk zh_CN
If you want your locale to be included, you still have a few days before
the deadline of ***2359 UTC, Thursday 10 May 2007***. For more
information on translating Fedora documentation, refer to the
Translation Quick Start Guide (TQSG) on our web site:
http://docs.fedoraproject.org/translation-quick-start-guide/
The Fedora Docs Project is updating the following page at least once a
day with statistics on translation progress:
http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/DocsProject/Translation/Statistics
The about-fedora, homepage, readme, and readme-burning-isos documents
are also showing very good statistics. We will send a final summary
email on the deadline date which should reflect what documents will be
included in the Fedora 7 ISO spins. Thank you for your efforts!

Homepage link for sr relnotes
by Miloš Komarčević
Hi,
Since we're now above the required 90% mark for the sr relnotes
translation, I expect it will be included with the final release?
However, the link in the homepage module seems to incorrect, it
references "index-sr.html\" instead of (yet to be)
"RELEASE-NOTES-sr.html". I hope there is enough time before the freeze
to push this correction through?
Thanks,
Miloš

Help translating some terms on rhn-client-tools
by Xavi Conde
Hi,
I'm having some difficulties translating the terms "compliance" and
"bare-metal" on rhn-client-tools module. Maybe some other translators
can explain it or give a useful definition:
#: ../src/up2date_client/rhnreg_constants.py:45
msgid "Compliance:"
msgstr ""
#: ../src/up2date_client/rhnreg_constants.py:52
#: ../data/rh_register.glade.h:294
msgid ""
"Stay in compliance with your subscription agreement and manage subscriptions "
"for systems connected to your account at http://rhn.redhat.com/."
msgstr ""
#: ../src/up2date_client/rhnreg_constants.py:246
msgid ""
"Provisioning module: bare-metal provisioning, existing state provisioning, "
"rollbacks, configuration management"
msgstr ""
Thanks in advance!

Small about-fedora change
by Paul W. Frields
I made one more very small change in about-fedora -- our RSS feed
aggregator should be called "Planet Fedora" to match the rest of our web
sites and documents. Sorry about the extra string.
The statistics are looking GREAT -- you guys are amazing!

The script in
http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/DocsProject/Translation/Statistics
may not be useful for someone with a slow internet conection.
You may use the following script, which should be at the directory where you
download the files for translations.
-----begin postat script -----
#!/bin/bash
echo "Statistics:"
for i in \
about-fedora \
homepage \
readme \
readme-burning-isos \
release-notes
do
pushd ${i}/devel >/dev/null ; RES=`make postat-$1`; echo "$i-$RES"; popd
>/dev/null
done
------ end postat script ---
Usage:
./postat lc
where lc is your locale code.
Example, for spanish
./postat es
The name of the script should not necessarily be postat, it can be whatever
you choose.
