F13 Docs Schedule Meeting
by Eric Christensen
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Hash: SHA1
I'd like to setup a meeting for early next week between the translators
and the docs folks to work out the schedule for the F13 release.
I was thinking Monday between 1800 UTC and 2000 UTC or between 2300 UTC
and 0300 UTC (Tuesday).
Would there be a time in there that we could meet?
Thanks,
Eric

It looks very organized for Ambassador team.
L10n team has own procedure how to start and contribute [1].
There is also step-by-step guide to follow [2].
This is it for translator, simple and straight.
No mentoring is required.
It seems that for whom he/she choose to become both of ambassador and
translator, then he/she might need to follow both procedures.
Le me know anything I can help.

FLSCo and elections post-release
by Dimitris Glezos
The current FLSCo team has been on board for quite a while now. The
topic of elections has been raised in the past, but not many
nominations have been posted. So the question is:
Do we want to have an election for FLSCo after this release?
One idea is to open up the nomination process, and if more than eg. 6
people get nominated, then we could elect a 5-person FLSCo team.

If a contributor is from China MAINLAND (code: CN), please let me to
sponsor him/her. Then I can find mentors for the new contributor, to
better organize the team.
BTW, I'm looking for other qualified people to become sponsors, so we
can be backups. This is limited to simplified chinese contributors.
Any idea to improve this plan?

Transifex repo read/write issues
by Diego Búrigo Zacarão
Heads-up!
I just talked to Toshio on IRC and it seems we are having issues on the
ssh-agent setup, used by Transifex to have read/write access to the
fedorahosted repositories.
As right now some of our admins are on the round with the FUDBus or flying
to the
FUDCon in Toronto, we might have a delay for fixing it.
Be aware that download, viewing, refresh stats and submission might be
broken
for some components on Transifex due this issue. while it remains.
Sorry for the inconvenient and thanks for the patience.
We are working to get it fixed ASAP.
Regards.

There are plenty of sponsors in l10n-commits group, I don't know how
others have behaving, but my duty is to check if one has signed CLA
and is from China. Then I need to contact him/her, (and like this time
I'd want to find a mentor and/or leader). Any idea?
I don't know any one from L10N team in Red Hat Beijing. Maybe kaio,
rhe or some others can help. What's the point to communicate with
them?

Translators Wanted: SSSD
by Stephen Gallagher
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Hash: SHA1
The System Security Services Daemon will be going feature-complete and
into string freeze on Monday, Nov. 23. We're hoping to make a release
later the same week with additional translations.
Currently, the project has only a single active translator, for the
Polish language. We would very much like to expand our language
coverage, and would appreciate any help that this list can provide.
Our translation project is hosted at Transifex.net at
http://www.transifex.net/projects/p/sssd/
(We can't work on translate.fedoraproject.org because our upstream
requires that all patches (including translation) must be reviewed by
the repository gatekeeper. Newer versions of Transifex have support for
mailing updates to the project owners instead of writing directly to the
repositories, so we must use this)
Thank you very much in advance for your assistance in this.
