Thanks a lot Wart and Domingo for clarifying. This surely helps.

The phrase per se does'nt seem to need a re-phrasing, but perhaps a comment
clarifying the string can be added which can be seen by the translators. Hope
this helps.

Initscripts string - confusion
by Runa Bhattacharjee
Hello,
Thought I'd check here first before filing a bug to understand the
following string in the initscripts.po file:
#: /etc/rc.d/init.d/cyphesis:77
msgid "Loading database with rules: "
msgstr ""
Two kinds of interpretations are popping up for this string.
#1. Loading rules into a database
#2. Loading the database using some rules.
I could not find any documentation regarding this. Any pointers about
which should be the appropriate translation?
Thanks
regards
Runa

Oh, that's normal and expected. The banner javascript points to
an F11 release banner at http://fedoraproject.org/, but the image isn't
there yet, since we're currently showing the f10 website. That banner
will work once we release the F11 website.
Thanks,

Transifex translations: String freeze
by Dimitris Glezos
I'd like to say a big 'thanks' to the folks who have contributed
translations of Transifex! Special kudos to Piotr Drąg for Polish,
Pavol Šimo for Slovak, and Sulyok Péter for Hungarian for bringing
their languages to completion. {deep bow}
The Tx team is preparing some great stuff in the next days, in
addition to releasing 0.6.1, so mainline has now entered STRING FREEZE
period until the end of this week. Our PO files hang out at the usual
place for now:
https://translate.fedoraproject.org/tx/projects/transifex/mainline/
Thanks again. =)

Zeroday change to release notes for Release Candidate?
by Karsten Wade
We are considering doing a change today that would replace a paragraph
of content with a new paragraph. We need your (L10n)
opinion/viewpoint.
You can view the change as it was made on the wiki:
https://fedoraproject.org/w/index.php?title=Documentation_Multimedia_Beat...
Our plan is to replace that paragraph of text before the
'fedora-release-notes' package goes in to the Release Candidate spin.
This new content is about a better way to adjust legacy ALSA mixer
levels using a GUI interface.
We're not sure if there will be time to translate the new paragraph.
The old content is 100% correct. However, the QA/Testing Team would
like to see people testing/using the alternative sound mixer GUI
instead of the text UI sound mixer. For the Docs Team, the GUI
alternative is a better solution for more users and we want to tell
people about it.
Note that the changes will be made on docs.fedoraproject.org anyway,
and the release notes point to that URL for latest information. That
means a break of string and translation % is *not* crucial.
Thanks for your consideration,
- Karsten, guy who happens to be in #fedora-docs :)
