It looks like we're a lot further along after a couple more weeks.
The new ticket status shows a staging instance now available at:
http://translate.stg.fedoraproject.org
Looks like Dimitris Glezos has kindly created a couple projects
already that are configured as multi-POT:

There's a minor problem that needs to be fixed with the clone/checkout
process, but once that's done it should be possible to test.

I hope I can contribute Fedora documents translations
What else I'd like to do are website translations, Fedora packages
deployments.
I first met linux about 2 years ago. I used Ubuntu 8.04 LTS. I thought
it's marvellous. But I wanted to use RedHat based distributions because
there were RedHat 9 guide book and Fedora 3 guide book. Now I use Fedora
12 and I think this is marvellous also ;)
This is the first time that I'm trying something like this so I hope I
can do this well ^^;;

Removed unapproved application to cvsl10n group
by Noriko Mizumoto
Hi
Sponsorship queue became too long. Thus I just removed unapproved
applications added in before 2009-12-31 as no self-introduction has been
posted from those. If anyone of them to be approved actually, please let
me know.

translators wanted for FreeIPA
by John Dennis
FreeIPA is an identity and security manager. It provides centralized
management of users, groups, machines and services needing
authentication and authorization. The FreeIPA team is preparing it's
next major release (Version 2) which will include localization. We need
translators to help prepare our translations. If you're a translator and
would like to contribute we would love to have your support and in
return we will list you as a contributor. The translations for FreeIPA
are being hosted on transifex.net
The FreeIPA project area is:
https://www.transifex.net/projects/p/freeipa/c/master
We are currently preparing an alpha release of version 2. Not all
strings have been marked yet for translation yet. The pot file currently
consists of 120 strings, but we expect that to grow a bit over the next
month or two. At this point no translations have been done yet, all
languages are available. If you can help us then pick a language and
create a po file through transifex.
Thank you for your help!
The FreeIPA team.

Transifex outage - Fixed
by Diego Búrigo Zacarão
Hello, all!
You might have experimented some outage on translate.fedoraproject.org on
the last hours (roughly 15hs).
This was caused by an update that went wrong last night on our servers.
Today we were alerted about it and after some researching we could be able
to fix the problem.
Now it seems that everything is back to normality. If you hit any issue,
please, feel free to drop by
#fedora-admin on irc.freenode.net.
Thank to 'mmcgrath' and 'ivazquez' for the support on IRC.
