SSSD now in string freeze
by Stephen Gallagher
Hi folks! I'd just like to thank you all for your previous work
translating the SSSD, and invite you to have a look at our latest
release. We're on the road to releasing SSSD 1.2.0 and have released our
1.1.91 release candidate.
There are a few (22) new and changed strings since the previous 1.1.1
release. We would very much appreciate any help you could provide in
this area.

Release Notes POs
by Paul W. Frields
Hello translators,
Just a quick note from one Docs contributor to you fine translator
friends. :-)
The translations for F13 GA Release Notes are due on 2010-05-03 at
2359 UTC. Immediately after that, the Docs team will prepare a
package for shipment to release engineering. We are under a fairly
tight deadline, so that we can get all your translations at that point
into the final F13 release.
Thank you for all your hard work on the Release Notes and we look
forward to an awesome Fedora 13 launch!

Summary: fedoraproject.org Website Accept-Language
Product: Fedora Localization
Version: unspecified
Platform: All
OS/Version: All
Status: NEW
Severity: medium
Priority: low
Component: Other language

ReportedBy: rui.gouveia(a)gmail.com

CC: piotrdrag(a)gmail.com, fedora-trans-list(a)redhat.com
Classification: Fedora
Description of problem:
Hi,
Every time I access the Fedora Project website (http://fedoraproject.org/), I
am greeted with the pt_BR version of it. In my Firefox I've got defined the
languages "pt, en". So, I'm thinking that if the site ignores my language
preferences, I should have received the English version, if not, and the
pt is not an option, I should receive the English version as well, and
not the Brazilian.
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
All releases so far.
How reproducible:
Access the website with a Language preference different from English.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open browser.
2. Define a language different from English.
3. Access the website fedoraproject.org
Actual results:
I got the pt_BR version of the site
Expected results:
The pt_PT page version of the site

Receive all files in archive feature of Transifex
by Yuliya Poyarkova
Hi all,
I am not sure if this is the right place to ask, but may be someone can
point me in the right direction.
I was looking for xfce translations and noticed they are also handled by
transifex [1] but that version has a really neat feature -- "Receive all
the translation files in a compressed archive" (zip or tar.gz). See the
bottom of the page [1].
That would help immensely in building translation memory and save time
we spend downloading files one at a time. Is it because they use v.0.9.0
of Transifex and we use 0.7.4?

Introduction
by Julian Weißgerber
Hi all!
I'll (hopefully) be joining in on the fun from today on and help out with
translations to German. This is my first time contributing to Fedora. Nice to
meet you, everyone!
My name is Julian Weißgerber and I'm 23 yo and live in the Saarland region of
Germany. I'm currently working at the IT dept. of a local company and am also
a student. I'm new to translating FOSS stuff, but I did some occasional
translation work on other things before.
My main motivation besides contributing back to the Fedora community is that
I'm trying to spread Fedora around here and often people criticise the lack of
German language resources. Maybe I'll be able to help out with other things in
the future, too.
I got some more contact information on the Wiki:

Would like to branch system-config-printer
by Tim Waugh
Currently, translations for system-config-printer in Fedora 13 (1.2.x)
go into the 'master' branch. I'd like to create a new branch for Fedora
13 code and translations, and carry on with next-release development in
master.
How can I make sure this does not disrupt any translations to be
submitted for Fedora 13?
Tim.
