Self-Introduction: Seán de Búrca, Irish (ga)
by Sean Burke
Name: Seán de Búrca
Login: leftmostcat
Language: Irish (ga, ga_IE)
About You: I've been a Linux user for about a decade and involved in
some capacity (developer, translator, etc.) with various open source
projects since early 2003. I am working to pursue graduate studies in
linguistics, having completed undergraduate linguistics and mathematics
programs. Since 2007 I have been the l10n coordinator for Irish in
GNOME, and work with the teams working on KDE and Mozilla products.
You and the Fedora Project: Fedora has been working its way into my
ecosystem for the past few years, but my primary interest in
contributing to Fedora translations currently is translating upstream
projects with wider use which make use of Fedora's l10n infrastructure.
Currently there is no Irish team for the Fedora Transifex, and I would
like to begin translating these projects.

New policycoreutils messages
by Yuri Chornoivan
Hi,
Policycoreutils developer introduced ~300 new messages which was earlier
untranslatable. Most of the messages (~270) are very similar to
setroubleshoot plugins messages.
So if your team has a reliable translation of setroubleshoot plugins just
replace "If you want to " with "" in setroubleshoot plugins catalog then
merge it with policycoreutils catalog (I used Lokalize for this) and
replace "If you want to " translations with an appropriate big first
letter of the next word.
Hope this helps.
Best regards,
Yuri
P.S. Can anybody point me to the policycoreutils SCM to properly report
"desctiption" typo? May someone fix it in vivo without bug reporting?
Thanks in advance for your answers.

Security Guide ready for translation
by Eric Christensen
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Hash: SHA1
I just finished committing a few patches and closing a few bugs on the Fedora Security Guide. The changes introduced a few untranslated and fuzzy lines. I've updated the POT files on Transifex[0] and they are ready for translation. Because not much changes in this guide, from year to year, the languages that already have a lot of translations won't see much work to be done.
Thanks to all the translators that help bring this content to so many people.

Is transifex not accepting uploads?
by Göran Uddeborg
I tried to upload to the remaining 40 Swedish messages for firewalld,
but I can't. I click the progress bar for firewalld and get a "popup"
(what is the proper term for these kinds of web windows?) with links
to "Download for use", "Download original pot file", etc. Most links
works as expected, but nothing happens when I click the "Upload file"
button.
Is it just me, or is it a general problem? It appears to affect not
only firewalld, I tried a few other randomly with the same effect.

Blocked Transifex resource for HU team
by Zoltan Hoppar
Hi,
We have noticed that the ABRT resource is unaccessible for all HU
members that could be important if we would like to see it translated.
Currently the TX UI says that we have to be member of the HU team to
be translated. So, I know that we have met with such problems earlier,
and need to be set up correctly for membership by the maintainer. Can
somebody help in this?
Thanks
Zoltanh721
