Hi.
It would be much appreciated if he was listed in the guide for Fedora 13.

A Fedora docs maintainer introduces himself
by Jack Reed
Hi everyone,
My name's Jack Reed and I maintain the Fedora Installation Guide, Power
Management Guide, and Installation Quick Start Guide as part of my
duties in the Content Services team at Red Hat.
I'm in the throes of updating the localization materials for the guides
for Fedora 17, so I thought I'd jump on here to say hello and also let
you know that the materials are indeed on their way. :)
We've hit a snag with the two Installation Guides on Transifex, but the
Power Management Guide should be OK. This is my first time working with
Transifex so I'm working it out as we speak. :)
As for myself, I've worked for Red Hat for nearly a year now, and my
background is in studying English literature and working in university
libraries, so my time at Red Hat has been quite illuminating. The
technical side of my brain has had a great workout since I started here!
I'll let you know when I successfully wrestle the problems I've having
with these guides, and look forward to following the discussions here.
Cheers,
Jack

How to freeze a project in Transifex?
by Ruediger Landmann
Hi --
The files for two documentation projects[1] in Transifex are now very
out-of-date and need refreshing. However, for a number of reasons, this
is not straightforward in the case of these two books.
Is there any way to turn off submissions to these books temporarily
while we straighten out the problems? I can only seem to find options to
delete the projects entirely.
Cheers
Rudi

Help with updated team pages
by Göran Uddeborg
It's been a little while since I last looked at the Swedish team's
page for Fedora project on Transifex,
(https://fedora.transifex.net/projects/p/fedora/language/sv/) and it
has been redesigned a bit I notice. It confuses me a bit.
Rather than getting a complete list of all translations, I only see a
few of them with a scrollbar at the right. If I go to the bottom
there is a delay and a few more show up. And so on, I can add a few
more to the list at the time, but it seems it takes a long time to get
the complete list.
Is there some quick way to get an overview over all Swedish
translations for Fedora?
It also seems to be something odd with the sorting of the entries. If
I click the little triangle over the translation percentage bars, the
list becomes sorted according to that column as expected. If I click
again, it becomes sorted according the same column, but in reverse
order, again as expected.
But after I have scrolled to the bottom and a few more translations
are shown, this doesn't seem to work any more. The little triangle
points up and down alternatingly, but the order translations are not
affected any more. They remain in the same order, an order which
looks random to me.
How can I sort all the translations for Swedish in order of
completeness?

Self-Introduction: Johannes Scholten, German
by Ts
Hi,
My name is Johannes Scholten and I'm living in Germany. My FAS login is
jigmantao and the language I'd like to translate to is German. At the
moment, I'm studying physics.
I don't have experience with other projects, but as I have used Fedora
for a while now, I wanted to contribute and like translating -- and by
doing so making Fedora accessible to a bigger audience.
I am quite experienced with using a computer and have some programming
experience (but not much).
If my studies leave me enough time, I would like to contribute to Fedora
in another project at some point in the future in addition to
translating, but at the moment I don't know which one it will be.

SELinux Guide contributors list
by Misha Shnurapet
Hi.
Is there any possible way for a person to get their name in the contributors list of an old guide?
There has been the SELinux User Guide translated by Alexei Tsitsin into Russian. Shortly after the translation was done, it was moved back to development. The guide hasn't been published since then. It's kinda not fair that this effort is wasted. Recognition of work is very important.
