Re: Adding new group to comps-f19.xml.in
by Ravindra Kumar
Addressed all comments from Bill and also renamed groups
(virt-agents -> guest-agents, virt-agents-x -> guest-desktop-agents).
Attached are updated patches and following are test results:
[root@localhost yum.repos.d]# yum groupinfo guest-agents
Loaded plugins: langpacks, refresh-packagekit
There is no installed groups file.
Group: Guest Agents
Group-Id: guest-agents
Description: Agents used when running under a hypervisor.
Default Packages:
open-vm-tools
[root@localhost yum.repos.d]# yum groupinfo guest-desktop-agents
Loaded plugins: langpacks, refresh-packagekit
There is no installed groups file.
Group: Guest Desktop Agents
Group-Id: guest-desktop-agents
Description: Agents used when running as a virtualized desktop.
Default Packages:
open-vm-tools-desktop
[root@localhost yum.repos.d]#
Please let me know when can I checkin this change.
Thanks,
Ravindra

Seems initially reasonable, might tweak the names/descriptions a bit
(the names need to be distinct).
That being said, this would be a string freeze. CC'ing the translation
list - OK to add these two groups to comps for F-19?

Re: Fedora Installation Guide
by Jack Reed
Hi Jérôme,
Great to hear that your team has targeted the Installation Guide in this
way.
The Installation Guide is actually translated on Zanata now, which is
why you've encountered these issues in the Transifex project.
I've also consolidated the Installation Quick Start Guide into the
Installation Guide repo, so there are a list of files that would ideally
be translated first so that the Quick Start Guide can be ready sooner.
An explanation of this:
http://lists.fedoraproject.org/pipermail/trans/2013-February/010551.html
And an explanation of the move to Zanata:
http://lists.fedoraproject.org/pipermail/docs/2012-July/014465.html
And the project itself:
https://translate.zanata.org/zanata/project/view/fedora-installation-guide
Let me know if you have any more questions.
Cheers,
Jack

OpenSSH Guide ready for translation
by Eric Christensen
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Hash: SHA512
I'm working towards getting all my guides squared away for Fedora 19. The OpenSSH Guide is ready for translation. I see that the Spanish team has already completed it with several other language teams right on their heels. What's there should not change before the 19 release.
Thanks!

Transifex expression check problem
by KATO Tomoyuki
Hi,
I encountered error message saying
"The expression '% a' is not present in the translation."
while translating strings below[1] on transifex[2].
So, I couldn't save translation strings.
But, this string '% a' is not gettext expression.
If there is a blank characters following '%',
you should not check it, shouldn't you?

Hi,
as part of my F19 feature
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Features/3D_Printing
I would like to create a group in comps.xml.
Patch for rawhide is attached, I want to add it primary to F19, but also
for older versions (18, 17). Is anyone against it?
Sorry for doing this after string freeze, could I please get an
exception? I haven't done that before and only today I've realized it
supposed to be before the freeze.
I would like to get this in so user can see this feature more clearly.
It means just adding two strings.
Thanks a lot.
