In the Wikimedia sphere, they use a MediaWiki extension that proved immensely useful in multi-lingual wikis (like meta.wikimedia.org). I'm suggesting we add this extension to our FedoraProject wiki.
1- Interface: offers an experience similar to the one Zanata does. Split screen view with a memory.
2- Reporting and stats: "The extension has extensive reporting features ranging from a view of untranslated messages across all message groups in a given language to lists of translators per language with their activity level."
3- Supports .po files, java properties, and yaml out-of-the-box.
For more info, check the extension's page: https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Help:Extension:Translate

About You: Assistant Lecturer of Computer Science. I code mostly in C,
Python and Matlab. I also contribute to Arabic Wikipedia where I do a lot
of non-Arabic to Arabic translation. I also speak French, Spanish, and
Japanese with varying degrees of fluency.
You and the Fedora Project: I'm getting to know the community. For now,
I'm most comfortable contributing to translation. During my senior year in
college I helped organize a Fedora install fest where Diaa Radwan, an
ambassador, came with a talk on Fedora.
