I'm a bit confused :) For years now I've been translating
the Red Hat and
Fedora tools using the system at
i18n.redhat.com and all is well...
Obviously I have not been paying the attention to this mailinglist I should
have because yesterday one of my friends pointed out
http://translate.fedoraproject.org/languages/is to me. No team, no
Coordinator but thankfully, out work is there.
Maybe someone from the team can step up to become a coordinator for the
language? If so, there are some more information about this at
http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/L10N/Maintainer.
In the system at
i18n.redhat.com I'm listed as the maintainer of
all the IS
files but not in the
translate.fedoraproject.org system.
I presume one of those systems has a higher priority than the other ?
Adam already gave some answers for this, and you can take a look at the
following FAQ entry, which hopefully makes things clear (if not, feel
free to edit and add any useful information):
http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/L10N/Tools/Website#i18nrc
Hopefully once F8 things will be much clearer for everyone. We'll send a
mass email to all translators to the old (at least in Fedora terms)
system to create Fedora accounts and join fedora-trans-list for better
coordination. :)
