<fedora-triage-list(a)redhat.com>'s request for needinfo:
Bug 569641: Sound Juicer could not find any CD-ROM drives to read
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=569641
------- Additional Comments from Jaroslav Franek <jarin.franek(a)post.cz>
Retested with Fedora 14. Similar issue. The error text now reads:
"Sound Juicer could not read the track listing on this CD.
Reason: Cannot access CD: The specified location is
not mounted"
Probably not mounted, but at the same time Dolphin shows correctly the contents
of the CD, including correct track info. And the CD plays in VLC media player.
KDE does not offer any mount option for the audio CD to me.
But anyway, I have turned to other, working, SW for audio ripping, so I do not
need this to be fixed.
Geometry Dash is a fast-paced platform game that challenges players with precise timing, fast reactions, and intense rhythm-based gameplay. Known for its high difficulty and energetic soundtrack, the game has become a favorite among players who enjoy skill-focused challenges. https://geometry-games.io
In Geometry Dash, players control a geometric icon that automatically moves forward through obstacle-filled levels. The only action available is jumping, but this simple mechanic demands perfect execution. Spikes, moving platforms, gravity changes, and tight spaces require players to memorize patterns and react instantly. One small mistake sends the player back to the start, reinforcing the game’s unforgiving nature.
A key feature that sets Geometry Dash apart is its synchronization with music. Each level is carefully designed to match the beat of electronic soundtracks, creating a strong connection between rhythm and movement. Players often rely on the music as much as visuals to time their jumps, turning each level into a rhythmic challenge.
The difficulty of Geometry Dash plays an important role in its appeal. Levels often require many attempts to complete, but each failure helps players improve their timing and understanding of the level. Completing a difficult stage feels extremely rewarding, making persistence a core part of the experience.
Another major strength of Geometry Dash is its creative community. The built-in level editor allows players to design and share their own levels, resulting in millions of unique creations. This constant stream of user-generated content ensures that the game remains fresh and endlessly replayable.
In conclusion, Geometry Dash is more than a simple jumping game. It is a demanding test of concentration, rhythm, and determination that rewards patience and practice. With its simple controls, challenging design, and powerful music integration, the game delivers a truly memorable experience.
Hi all,
I wanted to share a fun, lightweight game that might be of interest to anyone looking for something engaging to enjoy in their downtime without installing anything locally: PolyTrack.
What is PolyTrack?
PolyTrack https://poly-track.io is a free, browser‑based racing game inspired by the classic TrackMania series. It features fast‑paced racing on colorful low‑poly tracks, challenges that test reflexes and strategic timing, and smooth gameplay that runs well even on modest hardware.
Why it’s cool:
No download or installation required — you can play directly in your web browser.
Dynamic tracks and vibrant visuals make it easy to jump in for both quick sessions and longer play.
It’s equally fun for casual players and those seeking better lap times or mastery of tricky sections.
If anyone here has tried it or is interested in lightweight HTML5/WebGL games that balance performance and fun, I’d love to hear your thoughts or suggestions for similar titles!
Happy racing!

Dinosaur Game is a simple endless runner that appears in Google Chrome when the internet connection is unavailable, yet it has become one of the most recognizable browser games ever created. What began as a hidden feature quickly turned into a global favorite. https://dinosaur-game.io
The main goal of the Dinosaur Game is survival. Players guide a small pixel dinosaur across a desert filled with cacti and flying pterodactyls, jumping at the right moment to avoid obstacles. The controls are limited to a single action, but the challenge grows as the game speed steadily increases, demanding sharper reflexes and better timing.
One of the game’s strongest qualities is its instant accessibility. There is no need to install anything, sign in, or even be online. Within seconds, players can begin playing, making it a perfect time-filler during waiting moments or unexpected connection issues.
The minimalist design of the Dinosaur Game plays a major role in its success. The black-and-white visuals and absence of sound effects remove all distractions, forcing players to focus entirely on the rhythm of jumps and the spacing of obstacles. This design choice turns a very basic concept into a surprisingly intense experience.
Despite having no levels or ending, the game motivates players through personal achievement. Beating a previous high score becomes the main objective, encouraging repeated attempts and steady improvement. Each run feels like a personal challenge rather than a scripted experience.
In conclusion, the Dinosaur Game demonstrates how simplicity can lead to lasting appeal. With easy controls, increasing difficulty, and universal accessibility, it remains a timeless example of how small ideas can create big enjoyment.

Flagging for CommonBugs and nominating as a prioritized bug. This seems like a
pretty bad problem.
