[F25, KDE] very very slow internet connexion

I experience very very slow internet connexions, in particular when on
google web sites. Mostly I use firefox but occasionnaly konqueror. Is
there anything I could do to determine if it comes from fedora,
firefox or my internet provider?

bluetooth broken (?)

I cannot enable bluetooth. Clicking the bluetooth applet in my
panel does nothing.

I open firefox for 2 different profiles with the command:
/usr/bin/firefox -P -no-remote %u
In each profile A, I login to my one gmail account
and in second profile I login to my other gmail account.
Attempting to login to 2nd account fails because I am not granted
the same login screen where you enter you email address, and then
prompted for the password. Instead, you can only creat a new pay-for-it
account.
Google must be hurting for cash ??? :) :)

SSSD AD login fails in RHEL 6

I have configured SSSD manually by updating sssd.conf , smb.conf and krb5.conf. Used authconfig to update pam files and also manually done.
System joins to domain but AD user login fails.
while running sometimes i get error Kerberos pre-authentication failed ..sometimes its joined without error. But both times AD login fails.

As part of troubleshooting ,i have tried with sssd debug mode etc. Major error message i get is related to Kerberos.Hope this forum gives me success.

Since only proprietary driver exists for this card, should I even bother
debugging (how?) or is all hope lost? Wifi is super slow (100KB) and

SUB# connectors -

I have an MSI motherboard with USB3
connectors on the back panel that I have
never been able to use because the
connectors are different and nothing I
have fits them. They are similar to the
usual USB 2 connectors but have a blue
insert. I would like to order adapter
cables, whatever but a lot of googling
hasn't helped ... I've looked for this
before without success.
Can anyone help me with the proper
terminology to order something that fits?

what is responsible for the file: ifcfg-essid?

Bonjour,
I would like to know what is the process which automatically write the
file /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-<name of a new essid> whenever
you connect your computer to a new wifi.
Generaly, the connection is made via dhcp and we have the instruction
PEERDNS=yes. I want to modify this ie. I want that the process write:
PEERDNS=no
and add these lines:
DNS1=xxx.yyy.....
DNS2=zzz.ttt....
(fixed dns addresses).
I want that my laptop will be able to use these dns addresses in spite
of the assigned dns adresses by the dhcp which it connects to.

Networkmanager Will not Start the Network at Boot Time on 5Ghz
Channel on USB Wifi Adapter

Hi,
Following compiling the kernel driver for an rtl8814au chipset to
get networking working on my DWA-192 usb wifi adapter, I have found that
if I configure Networkmanager to use the 5Ghz channel and set the option
"Automatically connect when available" which sets "ONBOOT=yes" in the
corresponding /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg file, Networkmanager
does not activate the network at boot time, so mounts of network drives
fail, and the network is not available until I start up either Gnome or
KDE, in which case both use the 5Ghz channel.
If however is set the option "Automatically connect when avaiable"
in Networkmanager in the 2.4Ghz definition then Networkmanager makes the
network available at boot time and mounts of network drives work, and
correspondingly when I start Gnome or KDE they use the 2.4Ghz channel.
Is this a defect in Networkmanager not checking both definitions to
verify if ONBOOT=yes is set in either or is it an issue with the
compiled driver not doing things properly?
I am using this environment with kernel 4.9.6.
