I was trying to install the InventorLoader addon for FreeCAD and it
requires three python modules to install.
xlrd, xlwt and xlutils
xlrd and xlwt are available through DNF, xlutils isn't.
I saw it mentioned in an old bug report but nothing more.
I would like to request that this package be added.
This is a test. I sent a message asking about editors a bit after noon
I have not seen a post to this list since 1:22pm today.
I am a bit concerned I am having problems with the list, or the list
itself is having problems.
So this is a list ping....
I've been downloading podcasts to Rhythmbox for a while and have now
accumulated about 88 Gbytes of them. I would like to delete the old
ones, say older then 4 months, while preserving the feeds. What's the
easy way to do this? A while searching the web has produced no help,
not even the location of a Rhythmbox mailing list.
Thanks in advance for your help - jon

I have been using Geany for some time for my html and xml (Internet
Now I am being pushed to learn the IETF kramdown approach to writing
drafts which is based on Markdown.
The markdown plugin for Geany only colorizes SOME of the tags used. Most
importantly I cannot 'fold' blocks of text I am not currently working on
like I do for xml and html all the time
So does anyone have experience with at least Markdown and can recommend
another editor to try?
I recently rebuilt my desktop to a clean F30 installation. Now I'm
seeing gnome-shell crashing when I try to view a video in Chrome. I'd
love to upload the report, but abrt reports a "ureport" error.
In any case, is this just me or is it more widespread?
Chrome: Version 76.0.3809.87 (Official Build) (64-bit)
The same videos played in Firefox are no problem.
I can delete these directories from any GIU file manager, but
not from the command line.
I think I am making a typo here, but I am not seeing it. Would
you guys mind being a second pair of eyes for me?

A vendor wants me to set up core dumps for him on
a Fedora 30 server.
Is this link from 2012 still valid?
And is there a way to set up core dumps on only
particular software? (Okay, I know, split infinitive,
but you know what I mean.)
