That is nonsensical English, the same for your next few messages.
Try writing in your native language, someone may understand you
directly. There probably are multi-lingual people here.
I can only guess:
You have a three-discdrive RAID, one of the drives has failed.
You put / and home on them (this is a logical thing to do).
You couldn't put swap on them. I'm not sure that's a good idea. It
may depend on what mode of RAID you have (RAID 0/1/2/3/4 etc).
You only have remote access to the server.
I don't know what you want to do, nor what advice you want from us.
You want to recover old data?
You want to do a complete fresh new install?
Something else?

What is wrong with my dnf exclude for wine?
by ToddAndMargo
Hi All,
What is wrong with my wine dnf excludes?
# grep -i wine /etc/dnf/dnf.conf
excludepkgs=wine*
excludepkgs=wine-*
dnf still tried to upgrade wine!!!!
And wine 8 IS EVEN WORSE THAN WINE 7!!!!
Wine 8.0.1 cannot print to a local printer, but can to a network printer
https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=54428
I need to stay on wine 6 and also be able to
update everything else.
Many thanks,
-T

I'm sorry, but this is simply not good English. You can't just remove
all punctuation and expect it to be comprehensible, even though there
are no spelling errors. In fact even after guessing at the missing
punctuation it's pretty difficult to understand.
If you want to get help, you have to make yourself understood. Forcing
your readers to make assumptions and try to tease out what you're
asking is not a good way to get useful answers.

Nvidia again..
by GianPiero Puccioni
Hi,
as reported elsewhere I had problem with the nvidia driver when updating from
F35 to F37. The last kernel update fixed that, but now there is something
strange.
The driver is installed and works, but every time I boot the machine I get a
"SELinux Alert" about "preventing gdb from read access on the chr_file
nvidia0".
It doesn't seem to have any adverse effect but I have no idea why gdb is doing
that or if is it something that normally happens.
Any suggestion?

power profiles
by Frederic Muller
Hi!
It seems i can only stay in Power Saver mode, balanced seems to be
clickable but quickly reverts to Power Saver and Performance is not even
clickable.
Any idea if there is any way to do that 'manually' as my laptop is
really slow now.
Thank you.

Vivaldi web browser - anybody?
by lejeczek
Hi guys.
Does anybody use Vivaldi?
I've had for a few years but have used it only for specific
subset of wwws. I've only recently noticed I do not get
sound during video playback, Youtube and others.
Can somebody confirm, using their yum/rpm packaged installation?
many thanks, L.

nmcli set dns search
by Mike Wright
Hi all,
I'm trying to use nmcli to set what would be the "search" option in
/etc/resolv.conf.
Using nmcli to set the search domain
"nmcli con mod eth0 ipv4.dns-search main"
(.main is the local private TLD for historical reasons)
"nmcli con show eth0" answers with
ipv4.dns-search: main
So that shows that it has that search domain associated with dns.
Rebooting the fedora 37 container shows that ipv4.dns-search is persistent.
However a simple request such as "ping dns" has no idea what the address
is, yet "ping dns.main" resolves. That says it knows the search domain
but it doesn't know what to do with it.
https://access.redhat.com/solutions/6983238 says this was "SOLUTION
VERIFIED" Nov 2, 2022.
This appears to be a bug in current f37. Anybody know anything about this?
Thanks for any help/insight,
Mike Wright
