installing puppeteer on fedora40

Hi all, Before I start using npm to install Puppeteer on Fedora40, I thought I'd see if I should install using actual packages. I'm not very familiar with Puppeteer, but I was asked to install it on a server I manage for a developer who needs it for headless Chrome, I believe. emacs-nox installs 622 MB of packages???

Does this look reasonable to anyone, given I am trying to install a lightweight version of emacs without the gear for window managers and desktop environments on a Fedora Server? Move Fedora Server to new machine, RAID1 -> Single disk

Hi Everyone, I have a Fedora Server running F40 on an old Proliant G5 with hardware RAID1. The machine is giving too much trouble so I would like to migrate to newer hardware with a single SSD. Both machines are x86_64. I've been researching methods to perform the migration, but I am not clear on the strategy. Some folks say provide a method and say it works, other folks say it does not work. I think I have hit diminishing returns on reading from the web. I am planning on using Clonezilla to clone the image to a portable drive, and then restore the image from the portable drive to the new machine. I've had success with Clonezilla in the past, but I restored to the same machine. Does anyone have experience with a migration like this? If so, can you provide feedback? Jeff

Your old machine is a BIOS system, your newer one should be an UEFI system. And in any case, you should migrate from deprecated MBR partitioning to GPT, if you haven’t already done. Yeah, this is a problem. Originally I was going to use legacy or mbr, but I think I am going to avoid it now. The original plans were more ambitious -- do the mbr restore, and then convert to gpt. If you are using LVM as recommended, it’s quite easy. So it might be helpful it you post a fdisk listing. I think I am going to try rsync. Boot into single user mode, and then make a backup with: rsync -aAXv --delete \ --exclude=/dev/* --exclude=/proc/* \ --exclude=/sys/* --exclude=/tmp/* \ --exclude=/run/* --exclude=/mnt/* \ --exclude=/media/* \ --exclude="swapfile" \ --exclude="lost+found" \ / <usb drive> Then restore on a newly installed F40 server. Bonjour, fslint is a software to remove duplicates and was available in previous fedora release. I don't find it in fc40 repos. Is there a new analogue software? and what is its name?
