color profiles for screens/monitors

Hi guys How do we load & tweak color profiles in Fedora (without using external sensor-devices) ? My Lenovo Thinkbook built-in screen has different (and not adjustable in BIOS) color temperature what my external DELL shows - they are quite different thus annoying. many thanks, L.

Hi Everyone, I have a Fedora Server running F40 on an old Proliant G5 with hardware RAID1. The machine is giving too much trouble so I would like to migrate to newer hardware with a single SSD. Both machines are x86_64. I've been researching methods to perform the migration, but I am not clear on the strategy. Some folks say provide a method and say it works, other folks say it does not work. I think I have hit diminishing returns on reading from the web. I am planning on using Clonezilla to clone the image to a portable drive, and then restore the image from the portable drive to the new machine. I've had success with Clonezilla in the past, but I restored to the same machine. Does anyone have experience with a migration like this? If so, can you provide feedback? Jeff

Yes, thats part of enabling DMARC mitigation for all lists. It shouldn't change again now and I'm not sure it would be worth changing it back at this point just for that list. Firewalld Policiy

Good day all, I have been trying to manage the egress traffic with firewalld and haven't been successful. I created a firewalld policy with the following ingress zone: dmz egress zone: drop For the dmz zone the source IP address is assigned while the interface is assigned to drop. My understanding is that the ingress zone is traffic affects the input chain while the egress is traffic on the output chain. The policy shows active; however, traffic is still permitted in both directions. Apache suspend/resume (again)

[Rather than adding to an existing thread (which discusses AVCs from crontab among other things, this is starting from a clean slate to reduce confusion.] 1. I run httpd via systemd for a small personal web service. This works. 2. I suspend my system overnight and wake it automatically in the morning). This turns out to be irrelevant, because the problem reported here occurs even when I do it manually. 3. On resuming, everything is up *except* httpd. 4. The journal (see below) shows that httpd does resume with the rest of the system, but then is immediately deactivated. The reason for this is not stated (there's no error message), but may be because on the system resume the network is not yet up. A similar thing seems to happen to certbot, though I haven't looked at it in detail. Valeton GP-100

The Valeton GP-100 is a guitar effects processor with a USB interface to a Windows app for controlling configuration. The app runs under Wine, but the journal shows many errors, and although the app says the device is connected, it doesn't get as far as showing the UI. I've also tried it using Bottles, with the same result, Online videos show this working correctly under Arch (with Wine), so I assume there's some setting I need to play with, or possibly an additional library I need. I can post the error logs if anyone thinks they may have an insight into this or has experience in getting it to work. The device manual is of course useless and they have no Linux support whatever. poc
