Anyway, my understanding is that nouveau.modeset=0

is equivalent to nomodeset

I am trying to activate modeset to get the fn

fonctions working !

Looks like you are running optimus technology; therefore, you might want to look at [0] configuring Bumblebee on your laptop if you will like to use your NVIDIA Graphic card.

Of you can append the following lines to the kernel argument
nouveau.modeset=0 rd.driver.blacklist=nouveau
