In what file is this info stored ? Couldn't find any reference under /etc/sane.d.
Is there a way to remove the old scanners from the command line ?
I found that /etc/sane.d/dll.conf had a list of all of the various interface/protocol/brands that sane scanned for on startup. If I commented out all but the ones I used (net and hp) that startup was much faster and it didn't search for devices that may have once been configured and are long gone.
