I also have about 7 no-brand KVM switches that never lock and I swith back

Each switch holds 4 machines. I got them at www.startwest.com which is a

Thanks for the suggestion. Swithcing between terminals has not worked
for me. So far, only restarting X has been useful!
The CAB4WAY that you suggest appears to be a printer switcher.
