Thanks! OK, I think I got this to package: not completely clear why the latter stuff
(involving site-packages) could not be automated. Anyway, here we go:
$ fpaste pdf-stapler.spec
Uploading (2.3KiB)...
http://ur1.ca/mlk1u ->
http://paste.fedoraproject.org/224688/30572714
However, it "crashes" after installation:
$ pdf-stapler
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/bin/pdf-stapler", line 5, in <module>
from pkg_resources import load_entry_point
File "/usr/lib/python2.7/site-packages/pkg_resources/__init__.py", line 3018,

working_set = WorkingSet._build_master()
File "/usr/lib/python2.7/site-packages/pkg_resources/__init__.py", line 612,
in _build_master
ws.require(__requires__)
File "/usr/lib/python2.7/site-packages/pkg_resources/__init__.py", line 918,
in require
needed = self.resolve(parse_requirements(requirements))
File "/usr/lib/python2.7/site-packages/pkg_resources/__init__.py", line 805,
in resolve
raise DistributionNotFound(req)
pkg_resources.DistributionNotFound: pypdf==1.12
Why is this suddenly complaining? Actually, why is it even looking for pypdf when I have
installed PyPDF2? My old rpm for stapler made for myself "worked" with F21 (but
I do not have one handy right now).
Btw, here is my PyPDF2 spec file, but that is not creating any errors.
$ fpaste PyPDF2.spec
Uploading (2.6KiB)...
http://ur1.ca/mlkhk ->
http://paste.fedoraproject.org/224693/14323063
Many thanks,
Ranjan
