Has anyone tried to use Yahoo IM on Linux, with a proxy. I am unable to set one. I have tried to set one via export however it doesn't use this proxy location. If no one uses Yahoo IM, is there a Linux alternative that will talk to Yahoo?

They suggest using one of the mirrors for FC2, but I couldn't find in in any of the West's mirrors. Any idea why, yum couldn't find it ether.

Gaim is included with Fedora Core and has been updated several times for FC2.
Alternatively, Psi is nice, too. Search for 'psi' at http://www.fedoratracker.org
Michael, your right it is in FC2 and on my machine. What a bone head it was right there. Thanks Tim...
