I have just configured a VPN connection which required entering a
Gateway, Username, Password, and a Shared Key in the IPsec
Settings.
Now, after reboot, NetworkManager contacted the remote Gateway, and now
I must configure it correctly.
If not allow IPsec tunnel protection on the gateway, the response to NM
is this
xl2tpd[7981]: control_finish: Connection closed to x.x.x.x, port
1701
(No IPSec protection for the L2TP tunnel), Local: 2092, Remote: 24480
Then, I must enable l2tp over ipsec on remote gateway and my local NM,
or something like this (I do not know any pre-shared key).
Now I search on internet how I must do that
It connected without problems. My VPN provider is Ironsocket.
My Router is a ZyWALL USG100-PLUS, and for now I cannot connect to it
I do not know (for now) how to configure on this router ipsec and
enable l2tp over ipsec, but I will work on it.
So, not sure what to suggest at the moment.
Thank Ed Greshko, for now that's okay, the your useful suggest has
been logout or reboot after add a new l2tp connection.
Now is another kind of problem, my knowledge problem ;-)
Thanks
