Since Fedora Core 2 does not include XFree86, are there any suggested VNC apps that will allow me to remotely connect from my WinXP box to my Fedora box? Or should I stick to installing XFree86 and Tight VNC?
Thanks!

See http://download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/fedora/linux/core/2/i386/os/RELEASE-NO...
-> X Window System
FC2 comes with xorg-x11 instead of former XFree86. So what is your problem?

Is there any real difference between "Real VNC" and "Tight VNC"? Thanks -- Richard

What is wrong with the VNC that ships with FC2?

Why would you have to install XFree86 to install TightVNC?
My bad - need to read through the packages better - I didn't notice the VNC already installed and I was trying to install Tight VNC when it was complaining about XFree86 not being included when I did its install. Thanks!

I see. You will probably want to let the TightVNC people know that their package is broken. It should depend on files, not the XFree86 package name.
