People seem to be using the homepage attribute of Template:Userpage/Infobox2 inconsistently. A few people use http in the attribute and a few don't. The template currently inserts http:// in the link but not the displayed string.
There isn't too much work needed to fix this and am willing to do it, but I am not too sure which way it should be fixed. My personal preference would be that http show up in the displayed text as well, but others might feel differently.
I figured I'd ask here for guidance. If I get some I'll fix it, otherwise I won't do anything.

Thanks for being willing to fix this. I would suggest going with your personal preference (display http://), and if people don't like it, they can come here and we can try and reach a consensus on how to do it.
Alternatively, you can make it an option in the template, although that starts turning the template into even more template soup. But it's your call, since you're doing the work. :)

I'll do that.

It's not that much work; only about a dozen people use that attribute at all and it looked like about 50/50 as to which way it was done. So I only need to tweak the template and about a half dozen User pages. No big deal.

There were more people that had an extra http:// than not. I only had to change three or four user pages. Doing it this way also lets people provide https links if they prefer.
