Hi,

So I've been annoyed by the default position of xfce4-notifyd for a while (since sometime in Fedora 24). When I try to change the volume from the volume plugin on the top right, the notify shows up and covers the volume control.

Recent I filed a bug here[1].

Kevin thought this worth a discussion so I send this here.

My current workaround is, either move the volume icon to somewhere else, or change the default position of notification. And this is not user friendly enough as it require the user to configure it themselves.

So thoughts?
