Hi:
I have just installed a 389ds. I can use "cn=Directory Manager" in other
application's configuration when setting them up to authenticate with ldap, but I
can't use another ldap user created. How can I set permission for user to do that? Or
what kind of attribute should the user has?
I think to help here, it would be good to have a concrete example to isolate where the
problem is here for you.
Can you tell us what you mean by application? What you mean by "can't use"?
As an example, a report like:
"I am configuring nextcloud version x.y.z with the ldap authentication module. I have
set the ldap host to "ldaps://hostname" and imported the ca certificate. The
bind dn is set to "" for anonymous. When I access the ldap user list in next
cloud I can only see X entry when I should see Y entry".
This would help more to know what kind of issue you are having. More detail is better!
Thanks in advance
