0. Moodle is a complete e-learning system. Content in any form can be
easily uploaded by teachers and students, structured learning and
collaboration is possible, students can be coordinated etc
1. More users would be interested.
2. Lessons do not die as in IRC
3. Learning can become a continuous process. New students can join in
at a later stage.
4. Time constraints can be done away with
5. IRC /chat plugins can always be enabled/integrated.
6. Documentation development can be done in Moodle
Of course the UI is far better, etc
Yeah, I looked at it a bit... it does look pretty interesting.
Will have to investigate it moving forward. It could be at least a way
to collect materials from a irc/voice class so that students could more
easily get them all.
It does look quite a bit more elaborate than most of the short IRC
classes need, but I think more detailed classes could be good too.
