Most of the snippet issues I have ran into were related to #3.
Ensure all $'s are escaped (\$) or enclose the SNIPPET(..) directive
with
#raw ie:
#raw
SNIPPET(...)
#end raw
Also ensure that you have the proper kickstart metadata in the profile for the system. I
actually had this problem about an hour or so ago, and it was because I didn't copy
over all the metadata to the new profile I created. It'll barf out if it can't
match the var ..
