--- Comment #5 from Phil Weber pcweber@gmail.com --- I've had the problem as well and have the feeling that the current Blender requires Python 3.7 as opposed to 3.9. The bug can be replicated by deleting and then reinstalling Blender and with the new blender, change the preferences as they come up. There will be a crash.
