Groovy 2.4.8 was released in January of 2017, almost 2 1/2 years ago. The most
recent stable version is 2.5.7 (or if we must stick with 2.4.x, 2.4.17), both
released less than a month ago.
Recommending that we update the package to be more current, or potentially add
the language to Fedora Modularity for access to multiple versions as needed.
