This is another option I don't like so much.
I agree. Yours, and other people's, suggestion to start the installer
from the running live CD is a much better idea. This is why I was hoping
that there was a plan to make an official version of such a DVD. I'm
guessing that the fact that there isn't even an official Fedora live CD
yet might be an inhibiting factor.
