To answer your question, you don't need to add dependencies yourself.
That's the installer's job, so you just list the packages you want.
I'm not talking about the package dependencies to *run* the program.
I want to install the packages to *build* a package. That's why I
mentioned the command `dnf builddep`.
It is best to start out with an example working kickstart though,
since
there are packages that a basic system needs to have. eg.
