[magazine] Correct article based on comments
by Martin Sehnoutka
Hi,
someone pointed out in the comments for the Wireshark article, that
`usermod` command is missing a LOGIN argument. Is there a way I can fix
it now or is the article immutable after release?
Regards,

[magazine] New pitch: Nautilus Templates
by Alessio Ciregia
Following the previous article about Nautilus and shell script, what about
a brief article about Nautilus Templates?
I've found this feature useful just today.
There is a Templates folder under the home dir: if you place files there
(txt, odt, html, whatever) in the contextual menu that appears with the
right click on a directory you will have a submenu called, exactly,
Templates. It is something like "create empty file" in the current
directory. Well, the file could be not empty, but as the word says: a
template.
Ciao
A.

[magazine] Become a writer they said...
by Andrew Ludwar
Hello!
I'm looking to get more involved in open source, spreading the good
word, and am looking to contribute to the Fedora magazine (if you'll
have me!).
I'm a long time Fedora user and fan. I've been enjoying reading the
magazine, I figure it's time to see what I can contribute back.
Thanks for all your continued hard work!
Cheers,
-Andrew

[magazine] Article Idea: Notepad++ on Fedora
by Matthew Miller
Langdon points out to me that Notepad++ https://notepad-plus-plus.org/
is one of the most popular text editors for developers:
https://stackoverflow.com/insights/survey/2017/#technology-most-popular-d...
It's completely open-source, but Windows-only (written specifically to
the Windows API rather than an abstraction toolkit). I think an
article about how to easily and transparently run it under Wine might
be popular.
(We might also have articles for Visual Studio Code and Atom, which are
open source but based around Electron, which isn't in Fedora.)
Note: I'm not really qualified to write this article. Just suggesting
it. :)
