(Note: I could not find the component mingw64-filesystem to file a bug there,
so read this as a combined report for mingw32 and mingw64.)
The common --prefix option for autotool projects has no effect when used with
mingw32-configure and mingw64-configure
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
100-2.fc23
How reproducible:
Always.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Configure any autotools project with 'mingw32-configure --prefix=/my/path',
or 'mingw64-configure --prefix=/my/path'.
2. Build it.
3. 'make install'
(or do the equivalent steps with mingw64-configure.)
Actual results:
Everything's is going to be installed in
/usr/i686-w64-mingw32/sys-root/mingw/ , or
/usr/x86_64-w64-mingw32/sys-root/mingw/ respectively.
Expected results:
Files should be installed under /my/path.
