In linux kernel, 'include/uapi/linux/netdevice.h' defined the max
length of MAC address is MAX_ADDR_LEN 32 char/u8 and allows net device
driver to the MAC address via `net_device_ops.ndo_set_mac_address`.
So 64 hex chars is the max you might get.
